Spirits, Entities, Possession & the Wisdom of Serge Benhayon

Entities, ghosts, spirits, demons, discarnate spirits… they have many names. Acknowledged in numerous religions, cultures, nations and families, the notion of feeling a presence in the room is all too common. Millions recount feeling a deceased loved one around them. Others live silently tormented by a dominating presence and feel watched and imposed on. Whole industries are created claiming to communicate with those in another realm and many glamorise the phenomenon for self-recognition and celebrity status.

The fact is the vast majority have some family story or personal experience denoting an underlying acceptance or acknowledgment that there is indeed more at play. We have language embedded into our everyday interactions that confirms not only the presence of discarnate beings but also possession.

‘He/She just wasn’t themselves’

‘It looks like you’ve seen a ghost’

‘It was like he/she was possessed’

Serge Benhayon presents that evil can come in and through a person, but is never part of their true essence; that their divine spark can neither be sullied nor tainted. Through past hurts, indulgences and the accumulation of unloving choices, however, one can make themselves more susceptible to unseen forces.

Serge Benhayon presents on the depth and vast scope of life with such practical realness that people are offered another way.

Here is one such testimonial.

Entities, Possession and the Wisdom of Serge Benhayon

Jonathan Baldwin

When I first met Serge Benhayon I was 17 years old, just going into Year 12 at high school. After much resistance to the prospect of seeing anyone for support, and particularly anyone who I considered may be a part of the spiritual new age, I went to see Serge Benhayon for an Esoteric Healing session at his Universal Medicine Clinic in Goonellabah. My mother, Kathleen Baldwin, had been attending Sacred Esoteric Healing courses presented by Serge for about a year. She recommended that I go and see him, as she had observed my emotional state deteriorating over the course of many months. And so, when the intensity of my day-to-day life became too great I became open to seeking support… and I turned to the right man. It was a decision that profoundly changed my life forever.

At 16 years old, like many others before me, and unfortunately many others to come, I wasn’t in a good place. I had completely lost the sense of who I was – a knowing that was very strong in my younger years – and I had completely handed over my voice to express and make choices in life based on what I felt was true. I was going along with things, listening to music, hanging out with friendship groups and getting involved in projects and initiatives at school that I would never have naturally been a part of.

Soon after, at the beginning of Year 11, I reached the lowest point of not knowing myself anymore and I started to feel an unseen presence around me. It was a very dark feeling presence, and it was unmistakably there. I would try to avoid it by distracting myself by focussing my mind on other things – like playing football, music, studying, watching TV and movies – but when my mind wasn’t occupied and I was left to be with myself, there was no mistaking that I was not the only person with me. To describe the feeling, it was like having a dark character tracing your every step. Although you cannot hear them, you can feel them trying to get in; attempting to enter your thoughts; sending you images and generally attempting to attack and destabilise you. I had the feeling of being constantly watched.

At this time the experience scared the hell out of me.

I could never be truly relaxed and calm and had begun to have difficulty going to sleep at night, for as much as I could try to distract myself with other pursuits, when I came back to being with myself, I would feel the horrible presence around me and didn’t know how to deal with it.

One day I went over to my friend’s house and he introduced me to the 1970’s classic The Exorcist. For the first time in many months while watching this movie I felt deeply calm and surrendered in my body. It seems funny, considering the contents of the movie are pretty gruesome and to many very scary, but my body was responding to the truth that the movie was presenting to the world.

After this had gone on for several months, with my emotional state getting worse and worse, I booked in for a session with Serge Benhayon…

In Serge’s clinic room, accompanied by my mother, I described the feeling of what had been happening over the past few months. Serge heard me out with absolute matter of fact understanding and supported me to describe everything that had gone on, as he said that there was nothing he hadn’t heard before. In his steady presence I felt absolutely no judgement, just a wealth of understanding and loving support. When I was done expressing, he confirmed that I was feeling the presence of an entity, describing in detail how it had come to pass that this discarnate spirit had been able to enter and affect my day to day life.

What I had felt and knew to be true had been honoured in full; but what was even more powerful was the way that Serge approached the subject. He had full understanding of how the unseen forces worked and absolutely no fear of them whatsoever.

What I would come to learn from Serge Benhayon was:

  1. Unseen forces and beings definitely do exist.
  2. Their only power lies in the fact that we do not choose to be aware of their existence.
  3. From there they are able to manipulate human life due to our blind ignorance to what is truly going on.

Serge is a living embodiment of the fact that there is zero to fear once you know how to navigate and feel unseen forces, because we are by nature supremely more powerful than any disembodied human spirit on the Astral plane. It is only when we live less than who we truly are, that they are able to wield their perceived power over us. Once upon a time I was scared of entities and unseen energies. Today I am not.

During the session I asked Serge how I would be able to stop entities from disturbing me in the future. He explained that every time I drank alcohol I would open myself up to entity disturbance. This, I really did not want to hear. Although it was deeply healing to be confirmed in what I had experienced and felt to be true, drinking with my friends was a crutch that I was using to suppress other feelings that I did not want to feel. But in time and through experience, I could no longer deny that what Serge shared with me was in fact undeniably true.

Cartoon of a person surrounded by disembodied spirits while drinking alcohol

When I left the session that day I felt a freedom and lightness that I had not experienced in a very long time. Serge had effortlessly removed the entity with Sacred Esoteric Healing and I no longer had the feeling of a presence following me around. I felt like myself again and a gorgeous warmth, clarity and contentedness had returned to my body.

In my next session with Serge, he asked me if I was able to sense or feel what was going on around me, for example how my friends were feeling and what was going on for them. I said yes. Serge said that this was a very good thing, because when you are able to feel what is going on around you, you are naturally equipped with the tools to deal with the energy that you are picking up on.

“Like Batman’s tool belt,” he said.

In future presentations Serge would explain that we are got at from an early age by unseen beings and forces, in an attempt to bully us into shutting down our feelings and awareness of life. Everyone remembers having nightmares as children, being scared of monsters under the bed etc. But what if these things were real and were designed for us to shut down our awareness of energy because this awareness is very powerful?

The vast majority of us shut down our feelings when we are young because we don’t know how to deal with the discarnate beings that are sent to scare us… and by the time we have grown up and are parents ourselves, we have shut down to such an extent that we don’t believe what our own children are telling us. We say that it was only a dream and that monsters don’t exist, and in doing so we encourage them to shut down their innate feelings of the energetic field that we constantly live in also.

Then there are those who believe that unseen forces exist, but either fear, aggrandise or even deify the spirits. Others can feel what is going on, but simply don’t know the science of how to live life and not be affected by these forces.

We once had a family friend whose daughter, now in her 30’s, experienced seeing and feeling what she described as ‘ghosts’ and unseen energies her entire life. She once told me that she was worried about travelling to England, as it is a much older country than Australia and far more densely populated with ghosts. She also shared the story of how she walked into a room in her then boyfriend’s family home and without knowing could feel a horrible energy in the room. Her boyfriend later explained that their father had physically abused him and his siblings in that room when they were growing up.

This woman was gorgeous, bright, down to earth, hard working and dedicated, but felt tormented and scared by this part of her life.

Her mother, who was strongly involved in the spiritual new age, tried to help her by taking her to various practitioners along the way… but none were able to support and many acted weirdly jealous, regarding her ability to see spirits and feel energy as a psychic or spiritual gift that they did not possess themselves.

All she wanted was to be ‘normal’.

I am profoundly blessed that Serge Benhayon did not hold back his understanding of the way that entities and the unseen energies of this world work. He could have not presented his vast knowledge and understanding of the subject in fear of being ridiculed or thought of as crazy. But that is not Serge Benhayon. He is a man that is dedicated to speaking the truth, no matter what.

Without Serge Benhayon’s solid and practical understanding that spirits are simply human beings not in physical incarnation – that they are not to be thought of as lesser, or grander, or scarier than any person walking down the street – and that their only perceived power lies in our choice to not be aware of their existence and the way they affect and influence human life, I would have lived tormented. Not all of the time, but it would have been an area of my life that would have always kept bubbling up and although I would have tried desperately to shut it down through alcohol, mental pursuits, sports, TV and movies, I would have never been able to be content and still in my body. I would have lived in a constant state of underlying nervous tension and anxiety that I would never have been able to truly quell.

And how many people live their lives like this?

The reality is that my friend is not special. I am not special. We are all feeling energy all of the time. It is completely natural to do so and it is actually our greatest strength to navigate through life. We all feel everything when we are children and being sent monsters and ‘nightmares’ in an attempt to scare us away from feeling is the perfect scheme to rob us of our true power in our adult life.

At Esoteric Healing courses, Serge Benhayon demonstrates how simple it is to remove an entity when you know how. Through first connecting to your Soul (as is the case with all Sacred Esoteric Healing techniques) and a simple hand position on the shoulders, we are all able to remove an entity in less than 20 seconds. Many times I have been struck by the amount of torment and ultimate ineffectiveness of the exorcism rituals performed by the Catholic Church, when with the true science and energy, the spirit or entity that has been aggrandised to be so demonic, scary and powerful could otherwise be so simply, effortlessly and calmly removed.

Cartoon

Serge Benhayon not only confirms the existence of entities and the unseen forces of the Astral plane, he also offers the practical science and philosophy of how to deal with these forces with zero fear, and seal the door where they may enter and create havoc in our lives.

Through Serge’s teachings and my own experience, I have come to know that by reconnecting to your inner feelings and living who you truly are with a great deal of love and care in your life, the door where evil dwells well and truly does seal. The prospect of an entity entering my body, or being spooked and scared at night is now a distant memory. Absolutely, if I were to drink alcohol, or take drugs I would open the door back up quicker than I could think… but through making loving choices I am impervious to such forces entering, because when we are full of who we truly are, we are far more powerful than any unseen spirit and we leave no empty space for them to enter.

Thank you Serge for being the absolute rock that you are. Thank you for holding the love of humanity so dear that you never shy away from presenting the truth to the world, no matter how many feathers it might ruffle. You have supported me in so many areas of my life. This is but one… and I will document the many more in writings to come, but for this alone I am deeply blessed.

You confirmed the feelings that I had always felt, offered the practical tools to deal with it all and this has changed my life forever.

It’s a really great article on an important topic, I appreciated the detail Jonathan as there is a lot here for me to look more deeply at.

I know in my life there is an understanding that they exist, but not so much an active radar for them. They are in the background of my mind but are they actually ‘in the background’? Feeling their activity will answer that question.

I find it so sad that we have shut off our ability to sense that which is unseen. Last night I woke up because a bouquet of flowers had fallen from our shelves to the floor. There was nothing physical that happened, no earthquake, no sleepwalking landlord knocking it over – just an empty room or so it seemed that way. When I heard the noise and went downstairs to see what was happening, I felt frightened. Like there was an intruder in my home, I felt like something was watching me & every move. Like it was in the house to intimidate just because it could. What we are taught to think & believe is that there is no such thing as unseen forces, there is no such thing as spirits, ghosts and all of that – but there are so many unexplained things which can only be explained when energy is added to the equation.

Your writing is very touching Jonathan, to feel a man appreciate another man so dearly is very heart-warming.

The dismissive and hocus pocus way this subject is normally treated tends to leave you confused at best and doubtful of your own experiences.
I love the way the way Serge Benhayon presents on this topic is so down to earth and practical, just like every thing else he presents. And it leaves you far more aware, open and empowered.

We can sense so much more than our logic can justify. Lets drop the limitations we picked up when we learned that textbooks mattered more than our senses and found that our experience were dismissed as pure imagination. And lets give our inner sensitivity full reign to express once again.

Even when other people think about us, especially when the thoughts are negative or attacking, I experienced this as a feeling of pressure on myself but a pressure that can be overcome with true expression.

I’ve watched my 2yr old turn into a totally different person when she calls in a force. She in that moment is no longer my daughter but a spirit who knows exactly what to do. It is pretty extreme to see how they change – but also highlights the responsibility I have to call her back.

This is a super supportive article that gives me permission to explore my experiences of my childhood and bring light and understanding to what I felt and what often went on at night.

  • Reply Julie October 26, 2018 at 7:25 pm

I’m sure many of us through our lives have seen how someone’s eyes can change to black and their behaviour change to the point where you can just feel that they are no longer themselves. It can happen with people who are drinking, but I’ve also seen it happen to a person who very rarely drank but did have a lot of unresolved anger issues.

  • Reply Golnaz Shariatzadeh October 26, 2018 at 6:10 pm

Why are we so doggedly choosing to hold on to great big blind-spots, which in effect make us sitting-ducks in the face of energies that continue to profoundly affect all aspects of our lives whether we choose to see them or not.

  • Reply Matilda Bathurst October 20, 2018 at 2:39 pm

It is in our ignoring of what we feel that we give rise to fear and the unseen forces having any control over us at all. In bringing our experiences of spirits, entities and possession to the fore we diminish the shadows in which they lurk. I spent most of my childhood in varying states of terror, mostly at night, and, supported by Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine, realise now that I had a bedroom full of entities and spirits messing with me, all the while, particularly in nature, knowing and loving God with all my heart.

Lately I saw a short video of a singing contest. A 14 year old girl, very shy when she was asked to tell something about herself but once she came on stage and the music began to play, I saw some startling changes in her – her voice changed and her dancing was quite erratic. It felt like an entity had possessed her and provided her the energy to perform in this way, she looked exhausted and bewildered when her performance came to an end. And this is what is being encouraged as she has won this contest and was praised for her amazing act, with lots of publicity. For me, not the entity is scary but the way we choose to live, often up to ideals of what the world expects of us, can be more scary and far from the truth of why we are here in the first place.

    • Reply Golnaz Shariatzadeh October 9, 2018 at 5:20 am

There is so much outplay of the energetic behind-the-scene aspects of life which we have been refusing to see. Some even in very ‘normal’ daily situations, such as the one you have described Annelies when we actually call in the ‘support’ of external forces in order to achieve something over and above our current ability because we think we should or need it. When you start to reawaken to the fact of the presence of other realms of life with us here and now, such dynamics become more and more obvious.

  • Reply Caroline Francis September 22, 2018 at 7:01 pm

A much needed article supporting and confirming humanity of the unseen world and while there are those who are not ready to accept and see that there are entities, ghosts, spirits and the like because of their investments in creation it does not stop the fact that entities, spirits etc are real and to be seen exactly for what they are and represent.

  • Reply Matilda Bathurst September 20, 2018 at 10:01 pm

A beautiful testimony to Serge Benhayon and his life’s work in the world. Your last sentence says everything and I agree wholeheartedly… the confirmation that what we felt so clearly as children (have always felt) is the truth and that this is something that we can bring into our adult lives, is beyond transformative.

  • Reply Esther Andras September 17, 2018 at 4:41 pm

With ignoring the unseen forces, we just do that, we ignore them but this does not make them non existing nor will they leave us alone, on the contrary they are still there and affecting us strongly and have a much easier go to play with us. Thank you Jonathan for sharing in such detail and simplicity how and that there is another dimension of beings that seemingly seem stronger than us but only because we turn a blind eye and choose not to be aware.

    • Reply Golnaz Shariatzadeh September 19, 2018 at 11:17 pm

True Esther. Ignoring the unseen forces does not make them not exist. For a race of beings that is so intent on finding cause and effect, reasons and understanding about intricate working of things, we are being decidedly unintelligent in this area.

    • Reply Matilda Bathurst October 29, 2018 at 3:39 pm

This is such an important point. That ignoring something is a reaction just as much as an overt reaction (bursts of anger, frustration, fear etc) and that when we do react that leaves us in the shadow and power of whatever it is we are reacting to.

It is unnatural that we are not taught what a dark energy around us means or how to deal with it, and we definitely don’t have anyone to talk to about it with! We need to empower our kids so they don’t just try to distract themselves from what they are feeling.

    • Reply Golnaz Shariatzadeh September 1, 2018 at 9:34 pm

It is absurd that we are happy to accept the existence of electromagnetic waves and other such things that an instrument or another can measure, yet we are so good at dismissing the ‘dark energies’ and entities which most of us have personally felt and experienced when young and can periodically feel even now. Open conversations about such matters is a great step forward.

In reading this blog I do now understand why, when I drunk alcohol in the past, my state of being suddenly changed as at that moment I let in an entity that then could play out its pleasures through the vacant body I presented it with. I know I would I have chosen differently when I at that time had known this truth that is presented in this blog. Th truth that entities are a reality and that the altered state we know as being drunk is besides the poisoning effect to the body, actually nothing else than being possessed by a discarnate spirit that likes to have the excitement of living in a human body. A spirit that does not have the guts to choose a reincarnation for themselves.

  • Reply Samantha August 7, 2018 at 5:44 am

” we are by nature supremely more powerful than any disembodied human spirit on the Astral plane” Oh Yes and to think we have probably spent many lifetimes feeling they are more mighty – such is the illusion.

Thank God for Serge Benhayon for breaking this illusion and making it once again all about energy.

  • Reply Golnaz Shariatzadeh August 2, 2018 at 11:20 pm

Science fails us abysmally by claiming things that they can as yet not measure do not exist! And the religious institutions do not do us any favours by making everything sound so absurd and unrelatable to daily life. I love the way Serge Benhayon’s presentations and the Ageless Wisdom Teachings bring science, religion and philosophy together and everything starts to fall in place and make sense.

Important to speak about these nightly vile presences, many experience them but rarely speak about them to others. Since reading this article and blog comments, I’ve been in conversation with others who have recalled their own experiences. of spirits and dark forces at night. This blog brings light and understanding to this often hidden subject and dispels fears. It is within our power to dismiss and remove them from our lives.

    • Reply Matilda Bathurst September 20, 2018 at 10:04 pm

And it is in bringing them out into the open of everyday conversation that we deflate absolutely the power they hold over us. I love the bit in this testimony about being full of who we are and that then there is no space for entities or spirits to enter.

  • Reply kehinde james July 30, 2018 at 2:58 pm

The beauty of Serge Benhayon is the way he shares all that he is and his knowing with everyone, he never holds back or assumes a superior air but walks alongside us teaching, reflecting, guiding. To be taught to not fear disincarnate beings and learn they are no more powerful than we are is a huge support.

    • Reply Nico van Haastrecht August 10, 2018 at 12:40 pm

The way Serge Benhayon presents and teaches is from being completely equal to the students he is presenting to. As he often comments that he too is equally a forever student, a student of life, reinstating the Way of The Livingness back on earth.

Serge talked about entities at the first workshop I attended. it was the first time anyone had spoken about entities and spirits publicly, my mother did constantly, but Serge brought understanding to the subject. He breaks the taboo about keeping silent and makes us aware that drinking alcohol is an open invitation for spirits and entities to enter our bodies. Serge is the only one I have met that presents about unseen forces both benevolent and malevolent.

  • Reply kehinde james July 28, 2018 at 2:03 pm

The everyday way in which you write about your experiences is a tribute to your healing and work with Serge Benhayon. Through you Jonathon we learn that spirit and entities do exist and are not to be feared we also are made aware of how easy it is for them to enter our bodies if we disregard ourselves and drink alcohol for example. This subject is rarely spoken about and sadly many young people suffer and agonise silence because of this.

Great sharing for us all as a confirmation that those feelings we’ve had of not being alone, especially when we’re younger … and a very important understanding that we do not have to be scared of spirits around us, that to be fully with ourselves in our own presence means they cannot affect us. I didn’t understand this as a child and to be presented with this as an adult by Serge Benhayon has been hugely healing.

  • Reply Nico van Haastrecht July 25, 2018 at 12:06 pm

How come that for instance the Catholic church, who practise exorcism for ages, that they keep it so secret and only for the trained priests to being executed. We should all know about entities as they are a reality as the Catholic Church knows but keep as secret so they can control the level of our awareness, for instance on this subject, but on many more subjects too.

  • Reply Nico van Haastrecht July 25, 2018 at 12:05 pm

It is by our own choice that we do not not see the entities that are never not around us. It makes us powerless and at the mercy of these unseen forces, forces that are not in our favour but instead trying to keep us away from the truth we live in.

    • Reply Golnaz Shariatzadeh December 13, 2018 at 8:13 pm

Our choice to tell ourselves that entities do not exist, to pretend that we do not feel or tell the difference between various qualities of energy and to insist we are the master of our thoughts and emotions when so much is showing us otherwise, indeed keeps us as sitting ducks at the mercy of forces that do not have our best interest at heart in any shape or form.

We live in a world of energy with forces way more powerful that we give credence to. We ought to treat what we see as just an indication but trust much more than this our feeling sense. For visual life is just a section of the full picture of what’s at play.

  • Reply Golnaz Shariatzadeh July 13, 2018 at 11:20 pm

For a long time I simply did not want to know about beings that were not visible to my eyes because that was too scary. I preferred pretending that I did not believe in them although at many moments in my life, especially when I was a child I had a clear sense of the presence of things I could not be explained in the usual rational way.
It is truly amazing to be supported to deepen the understanding of the energetic dynamics of life so that such things are no longer a mystery or a cause for alarm. It is especially invaluable to be supported to know that when connected to our true essence we are actually phenomenally more powerful than these beings and that is exactly the reason for the underhanded scare tactics employed to derail us away from the settlement we would otherwise be in.

    • Reply Nico van Haastrecht July 25, 2018 at 12:16 pm

We try to keep ourselves in sleep so to say, unaware for the unseen forces that are willing to assist us in staying there. We think we are scared for these forces but that is only because we have come to close our eyes and choose to not see them. But once we choose to reawaken we will find that we are so much more powerful the the discarnate spirits around.

Although I was a bit frightened at first not knowing what happened to me, all the wisdom Serge has been sharing in his presentations came back to me and by connecting to my body and my breath the energy disappeared quite quickly. Without feeling this wisdom in my body I know for sure I would be very very scared and helpless. What you are sharing here is how simple it is to not be affected by unseen discarnate spirits “…but through making loving choices I am impervious to such forces entering, because when we are full of who we truly are, we are far more powerful than any unseen spirit and we leave no empty space for them to enter.” It is our self-abusing and neglecting choices that open us up to being affected by anything outside of us be it seen or unseen. So alcohol abuse for instance is not only harming to our body because it is a poison but also energetically because it opens us up to these unseen parts of life.

used to get bothered a lot at night when I was a child, I notice my children rarely are, something to appreciate in how as parents we hold the energetic quality of the house and how we support them by honouring what they see and feel bothers them. Without perfection it is energy first in our house, anything else only scratches the surface.

The matter of the fact is that these things can take over our brain and give us thoughts which indeed are crazy, ludicrous and nothing to do with reality. Yet, we are not looking to understand where they come from – in psychiatry we condemn people as crazy and that’s that. Thank God that Serge Benhayon has come to share this with us – which brings a real empowerment in supporting our mental health.

When we open to the possibility that entities are around it is natural and a part of life. As Life is not just what we see with our naked eyes, we live in a world of energy.

I have also experienced this presence, it first started out at a very young age, we were staying in a small rented house, I may have been 7-8 years old, I could hear strange voices and laughter, we changer our residence 5-6 times due to my parents work and at every place I would have this strange experiences of hearing voices. It only manifested in its full fledged form when we shifted to our own house, it was thus particular room where I felt constantly watched and a very negative energy, I initially ignored it, it only grew worse, I started experiencing nocturnal sleep paralysis and the entity would not let me sleep at night, I could feel it touching it’s cold hands on my bare back, it grew unbearable and I seemed help from a psychic who said that my house had a very powerful negative entity, and in a bid to exorcise it, my psychic fell very ill as he was also attached for helping me, I was so so scared, than I surrendered myself to God and I would read the Bible psalms daily and pray, it stopped on its own, more than the prayers it’s important to be really mentally strong, they only torment us to drain our energy and make us feel hopeless and sad. When I made myself strong it somehow had no more control over me. Fast forwar I believe it was because I was such a disturbed child that it preyed on me cuz of the negativity I had filled myself with, also the house was haunted because my brothers experienced the presence as well. Now again I an starting to feel it’s presence, I hope I can overcome it again.

Gosh Jonathan, a stunning blog and one I shall return to. I had from a young age felt there was more to life than met the eye, and often had smells, or saw movements that I could not account for, as well as knowing some people’s houses I didn’t want to go in and some people I didn’t want to go near. How amazingly well equipped we are in life if we stay true to feeling those things, without the reaction but as a beautiful barometer through daily life.

  • Reply Adele Leung March 23, 2018 at 11:36 am

So powerful. When we are willing to feel and honor the fact that entities exist, they lose their power over us. When we nominate what we fear, we come back to a settlement in the body that allows us to know the next step in how to deal with life.

These unseen forces are a huge part of life, but are often ignored, buried and rarely discussed. No wonder we keep getting tripped up in our day. Considering life from the place of energy first would help us so better understand what takes place and the way others act – not taking it personally or freaking out, it’s just an outplay of energy like the whole of life. The ability to discern energy, the awareness of the energetic dynamics at play and the understanding about how they affects us, all of which Serge Benhayon is such a great support for, are invaluable, especially at a time when there is so much disharmony in people’s lives, so much abuse of one another, harming of self and even suicide.

  • Reply Shami March 9, 2018 at 4:02 pm

A hugely important part about this article, is where you talk about Serge Benhayon offering the practical science of entities and how to live so that they can not mess with our lives. Because, as I have noticed, having an awareness of them without the tools for how to deal with them can feel disempowering. Serge Benhayon therefore offers us an opportunity to know and to experience the power of who we are and how this is beyond measure powerful when dealing with entities and spirits.

  • Reply Monica March 5, 2018 at 10:31 pm

“when you are able to feel what is going on around you, you are naturally equipped with the tools to deal with the energy that you are picking up on.” – this is so beautifully confirming to read and takes away any reactions we may have to what we feel … if we feel it we are equipped to deal with it. A great example of the understanding brought to the unseen world by Serge Benhayon. As a child I often felt things and did not fully understand why or how and it did freak me out a lot … it’s only been later as an adult through my dealings with Universal Medicine that I’ve come to understand the truth of what I felt, that there are unseen forces sent to scare us and discourage us from feeling – coming to know and understand this has changed my life and allowed me a whole other level of understanding of life and what is at play. Thank you Jonathan for sharing your story, it’s very healing to read.

When I was first introduced to the possibility that when we drink we allow entities to enter our body it made so much sense of why I felt like a different person, saying and doing things that were not my usual behavior. Talking with him, I got him to explain what it was he was frightened of, and then begin the conversation about what he was feeling in his room. I talked to him about the fact that if there was something there, in his room, then it was a coward, because only a coward would hide in the dark scaring a child at night – if it was truly powerful, why didn’t it come to face him in the day when he was feeling amazing? He really got it and I could see the possibility turning over in his head, the potential to not sleep in fear every night

It is black and white it is disturbing because it distracts me from my normal gentle nature. This is very helpful advice Jonathan .. “.., and that their only perceived power lies in our choice to not be aware of their existence and the way they affect and influence human life”.
It is a part of life that we must be aware of and act on through a deep care and love for ourselves to diminish these disharmonious thoughts and old way of beings.

I had a friend who has lived with ghosts for a while and eventually decided to not be scared of them and talked back to them equally and felt they did not have greater power over him. I have felt the presence of entities in a period of my life, I did not drink or take drugs, but I can feel they were around and they were not harmful. Sometimes they touched me and wanted me to take note of their presence and I did. Being aware of the presence of spirits and entities, is an acceptance that life is much more than physical and there is much more than what meets the eye. This is to be appreciated as it expands the world as we know it.

Entities and spirts are a reality, we live with them, they are around. As children we are acutely aware of their presence but because the adults around us have mostly shut down this awareness, we also let ourselves be silenced and/or shamed and relinquish our clairsentience, our sixth sense. We do our best to fit in until we reach the point of living ‘normal’ and being ‘normal’, at the expense of our innate beingness which can’t but feel energy all of the time, non-stop, 24/7.

Acting like it is only avoiding the responsibility of how much we actually do know and can act on it.

After learning from Serge Benhayon the truth of the existence of incarnate entities, my childhood memories of waking up in a semi-conscious state and seeing what I swore were ‘aliens’ with huge black eyes and big almond shaped heads at the foot of my bead (which scared the living daylights out of me) have a whole new meaning for me. I now know that they were actually spirits that were changing their appearance match a certain belief I had of extraterrestrials visiting Earth, which explains many other people’s experiences of ‘alien abduction’ that I now feel are really based on the same ‘out of body’ experiences I had as a kid and even into adulthood while in that ‘in between’ sleep state.

Not being afraid but understanding what, why and how means we are empowered and can then seal any openings that might give those entities and spirits free reign in our lives.

As Jonathan says; It is our greatest strength to feel energy, and it is there all the time, to either feel and use purposely or block and pretend such an ability doesn’t exist. The idea of outside unseen forces at play in our lives is one that many like to consider reserved for the movies, but scratch back the surface and such outplays that we dismiss as such things as coincidence, luck, misfortune, deja vu, strange feelings and so called unnatural occurrences, like a room feeling cold or off, are happening all the time, and the only thing that changes is the level of awareness we choose to bring to our daily lives.

  • Reply Samantha Davidson September 29, 2017 at 3:49 am

If we only see life as physical and not energetic many of us really struggle, we call it normal, but we are joyful, as we grow up and as an adult we feel stuff around us, within us, in a house etc that is energetic. When we start to be open and honest about that, then we live with more ease and from this a natural joy bubbles out.

Jonathan, this article is really helpful to read, I hear about children having nightmares and feeling monsters in their room a lot, and hear parents say its ok ‘there is nothing there’ and so I can see this happening with the child doubting themselves, shutting down their awareness. If we were taught as children the truth about spirits and entities and the unseen world and why they come to scare us then we could understand life and what was really happening and know that we do not need to be scared, this would be really empowering for children.

Drinking absolutely allowed me to be hounded and manipulated by energies around me, I could feel them, felt owned by them, it is not just that alcohol that does this, I have also been sober and felt energies around me that are of me or another person. Children are swimming in this experience but often get told that they are imagining it, so begin to try and put their awareness down, this does not stop the hounding, it stops us instead from facing them and seeing them for what they really are cowards and bullies, here to disrupt, disturb and delay us from staying on the path of being our true selves. We how ever choice the energy we are in, how we are and our impact on the pool of energy and which energy we are adding to, love or not love.

I, like you Jonathan, am so deeply appreciative that Serge Benhayon does “not hold back his understanding of the way that entities and the unseen energies of this world work” as by sharing the truth with us he had made sense of so many areas of my life, especially as a child. I was terrified of the dark and what I could feel and as no one around me understood what was going on I then became terrified of life. Attending Universal Medicine’s Level 2 Sacred Esoteric Healing course was one of the most pivotal points in my life when finally, I realised that I was not imagining what I had felt all those years before, and still often felt; it was like a huge and unseen weight was lifted from every part of my being as finally I was able to acknowledge that what I felt was true.

How wonderful that you were able to feel totally supported and heard in your session with Serge Benhayon. That what you had been giving power to, you no longer needed to when you had a deeper understanding of what was going on. Not that you didn’t already, because what you were feeling was absolutely true, but when it was confirmed, you were able to let it go and make other choices.

It never pays to be ignorant of anything. In fact it is not natural to be so and we could say it is in truth an illness as it creates a dis-ease within us. Think about it …. if we are ignorant to what is going on in life then whilst we might not the be aware of what we do not want to feel we are also no longer aware of the true beauty and qualities of love that surround us that are beyond the world of the Astral Plane and of Earth as they come from our Soul. Ignorance one could say is the crucial ingredient in a life of misery.

I definitely felt owned by something that was not me, when I drank, people make a joke about it, but it is not funny to behave in such a disregarding and some times aggressive way. Alcohol leaves an opening for energy to enter us I have no doubt, and I will not be touching another drop in this life. I want master life and be steering my own ship, not be a puppet to forces that are bent on reducing and distorting the beauty of humanity in their divine truth. Distorting because the divinity within us can never be broken, but only hidden, when we neglect to stay with it. Alcohol does that, it takes us way from our truth.

“Their only power lies in the fact that we do not choose to be aware of their existence.” As long as society and as individuals we deny, pretend or ignore that entities exist we are open to abuse by them. As is shared here by acknowledging them as a matter of fact occurrence to be responded to responsibly they have no power and by doing so we regain the authority of our own life.

  • Reply Golnaz Shariatzadeh July 23, 2017 at 7:40 am

We should speak about the fact of spirits, entities and possession more, and what the possession feels and looks like. Our ignorance of them does not stop it happening, but our awareness can allow us to be more conscious of the choices that make us, and those close to us, more susceptible.

Amazing article Jonathan, thank you for bringing through such a clarity regarding entities. I have never really paid attention to the unseen forces n the room, but now I know that that’s why I feel scared of them!

  • Reply Golnaz Shariatzadeh June 15, 2017 at 12:18 am

It is curious that so many people regularly drink and take alcohol and this makes them more susceptible to entities. They change their mannerisms, their behaviour and at times they even look different when they are in that state. We have learned to ignore all the signs even in these cases and just blame it on people not being in full possession of their faculties.
Yet it is so obvious if we just stop and reflect: if it was just our muscles and the acuity of our thoughts, surely we would just be weaker, perhaps less coordinated and slower in our response time, we would not change our behaviour and thoughts and we would not make choices which we would later regret.

  • Reply Monica June 12, 2017 at 12:07 am

When we choose to remain in ignorance about anything we give it more power than it has, and that is what we as a humanity have done with the unseen, said it doesn’t exist and continued as if it doesn’t and all the while it’s operating alongside and often within us if we are not full of ourselves. Your account Jonathan is very important as it highlights we do not have to be a slave to this and with the true understanding as provided by Serge Benhayon you and many others have come to know the truth of this and the power we all have to address it. This is a huge gift for us all, and when we know and understand this, dealing with entities etc. is simple and not something to fear, and it brings us back to the fact that if we are full of ourselves nothing can enter.

All that time I never would have thought that I was also dealing with unseen energies that were clouding my thoughts. Yes there are ways that they enter our body I.e when we drink alcohol or take drugs ect, or are overly emotional and we give up so to speak on being our lovely free selves like you beautifully shared. They also just bully from afar, and not always show their might and pose as monsters and demons etc, sometimes they just Chip away chip away and nudge us to make less than loving choices.

If children are brought up to be acknowledged in what they feel we would have a much stronger sense of who we are trusting and knowing what we feel and not to dismiss this and give our power away. When my daughter said she was scared and thought something was under her bed at the age of 5 I had a moment of reflection, do I discount it as being nothing, as I had been brought up or confirm exactly the truth of what she was sensing. I chose the latter and I praised her for being able to speak about it so openly. We talked about it, what colour it was and gave it a name and asked it to leave until she felt ok to go to sleep, which she did to my surprise because it had gone.
Having listened to Serge Benhayon talk about energy, spirits and entities i had the confidence to not only read what had happened to myself with past experiences, but to support my daughter with truth and allow her to not give her power away to that which attempts to dull our light.

“Serge Benhayon not only confirms the existence of entities and the unseen forces of the Astral plane, he also offers the practical science and philosophy of how to deal with these forces with zero fear, and seal the door where they may enter and create havoc in our lives.” This is vital information that has enabled me restore my true health so that the many entities that I used to feel entering my body can no longer do so. When we poison our bodies with alcohol, drugs and so on, we become open doors for entities to occupy us, which then affect our behaviour, attitudes and health. Learning how to close the door to that realm has been such a hugely supportive education, one we should all be raised with so that we know from an early age how to discern and respond to the unseen entities and energies that surround us all the time.

I have spent the best part of a whole day at an event where the theme was building evidence to inform opinion and policy. It came to mind in reading this, as how often are we only guided by what we accept is hard facts, and how much does that limit what we are open to feeling, and being aware of. It is a tragedy of epic proportions that we live our lives so numb that we will only believe something, if a scientist has put a rubber stamp on its existence. And yet everyday we have feelings, occurrences, happenings, that envelop our lives, and we always have that choice whether we ignore it, or consider there is more to life than what we currently accept.

  • Reply Harrison White March 1, 2017 at 9:20 pm

I can definitely acknowledge at times the presence of spirits, if things are feeling eerie or just not right, and sometimes it feels like the energy of such things is so strong that it seems very over powering, like at night when being pinned down in sleep, or when it seems just so clouded indoors and no sense of expansiveness. Our relationship with the unseen is massive.

How important it is to understand exactly what our reactions cause in us – a shutting down of our awareness and a rise in anxiousness or fear that immediately stops us from seeing the truth of a situation. This is the beginning of choosing to numb out or contract in order to not feel. Developing awareness and choosing to respond is the antidote to reaction.
“If our first move is to react then it stops us from truly seeing what is going on”.

Looking back at my time in the New Age Movement I am amazed at how much emphasis there is on sprits and unseen forces and how readily we would assign so much power to them not realising that they were already taking energy from us through our wilful alignment. We also would judge the bad from the good, and most coming in an apparent beneficent capacity we would accept without true discernment. We felt the power of Shamanic rituals and the extraordinary results and we witnessed healers such as John of God giving ‘miraculous’ cures. I was having healing sessions with John of God when I first met Serge and at that time could not see how the doctors (entities) that John of God allowed to work through him could be doing harm. I have learned so much since then but have not just left it as knowledge. I have allowed myself to experiment and try out the teachings presented giving my own body the power that I used to let the spirit/astral world be party to. I am returning to the wisdom that was there before my relationship with the New Age Movement and has, in truth, been with me all along; the ancient wisdom that is eternally present and accessible to everyone.

We actually use these expressions all the time – “‘He/She just wasn’t themselves’; ‘It looks like you’ve seen a ghost’: ‘It was like he/she was possessed’. These in fact are just a small example of very well know phrases we freely use. Do we just conclude that people are saying words just for the sake of it or are they actually describing exactly what is going on? For example, if you ever watched a person that was high on drugs or had drunk alcohol you can clearly see that they are not themselves. The thing that we do not ask ourselves however is if they are not themselves then who are they? If we were to seriously ask that question then a lot would be revealed. Surely it is time to open up to the energetic Facts of Life?

The simplicity and the thoroughness with which Serge Benhayon presents about the energetic aspect of our life is invaluable in returning to a much fuller understanding about our world. I am often stunned when I look at so called ‘scientific’ explanation to things which just string up observation of what has happened and then witness our arrogant pretence that we now have the full picture. Without bringing in the energetic factor that is actually a significant contributor to pretty much every aspect of our 3rd dimensional life, our explanations will always remain partial at best and often totally misleading.

This is a brave article to write because I know that this subject can have many turn away and label as ridiculous as it’s all unseen energy but then again, the amount of freedom this article offers people to acknowledge what they have felt in the past or what they are feeling today is incredible and so worth the sharing!

There are unseen forces and energies and it’s a very common experience that people have had in terms of feeling like they are not alone or they are being watched. I know I have experienced this and I hear about it a lot within my work and the clients I meet.

I can totally relate to this feeling of having some kind of energy around me as a child. From as young as I can remember, I was so scared when it came to going to sleep at night. I would feel physically sick and could not sleep in a room by myself until the age of 13 (which, was the time that I also first met Serge Benhayon and listened to him present on the science of energy and the fact that there are spirits, entities and forces at play). Having someone acknowledge that there really is more then our eyes can see was so freeing and I was able to be stronger, and not be afraid.

SO well written Jonathan – Thank you for your sharing of your personal experience and I look forward to reading your articles that are yet to come.

It is amazing how much emphasis we put on something being credible and real simply because it exists in the realms of sight, touch, smell and sound. Yet we know from the study of quantum physics very few events can be studied by these methods alone.

In all respects, we hold ourselves back from making monumental discoveries by limiting oursleves to such limitations.

Spirits and entities are always around and as a child I saw them regularly. These are the conversations we should be welcoming to share with one another so that everyone is able to read that there are energies that are not always supporting us.

The hidden fear and mystery of what we all feel yet are afraid to start the conversation has been shared with such simplicity through this blog and the support provided by Serge Benhayon. Once again never holding back on truth!

I like many have felt this fear as a little girl growing up. There were friends houses I dreaded going to as there was abuse taking place that became known in later years. When I spoke up about this fear I was often given the line ‘it’s your imagination playing tricks on you’. The support that was given to you by Serge Benhayon is a reflection that what we feel is not part of ‘our imagination” but the truth of what is at play and how to read and support ourselves in a loving way.

A blog like this is much needed in breaking the myth about entities and possessions that are often seen as out of the ordinary or topic that is never discussed or is often received with judgement or ridicule. Thank you Jonathan Baldwin for opening up and writing about this topic. So many of us have had or felt these experiences and have either hidden, ignored or swept it under the carpet in fear that others would ridicule or think we are making things up. To be understood and met with such understanding from Serge Benhayon is a marker of a man who hears the truth and respects another in expressing the truth. A moment worth writing about for all to learn and appreciate.

Thank you for sharing Jonathan, something I have found it is much better to be fully aware of what is actually going on than to dismiss or think we can ignore it. But as you say: ‘Serge Benhayon presents that evil can come in and through a person, but is never part of their true essence’. If we see everything as energy then we also do not take things personally, after all pretty much everybody has been hurt and so energy can come through any of us, we just need to always discern what it is and never blame the person rather see it in full and so have understanding and thus not react or blame them.

Serge Benhayon is the only person I have met so far in my life that willingly presents the truth on this subject. We are at the mercy of so many unseen, but most definitely felt energies in this third dimensional realm. Learning about what makes us more vulnerable to them has been a godsend, quite literally. I know that in the past times when I have suddenly felt quite ill has actually been the result of disembodied entities entering my body. Serge has a very intuitive understanding of what makes us vulnerable and how we can strengthen our own defenses against this type of invasion and relinquishing our consumption of alcohol, drugs and other toxic substances is fundamental without question, a fact that I can personally vouch for.

  • Reply Rowena Stewart December 4, 2016 at 7:46 am

Thank you Jonathan and the very practical down to earth way Serge talks about entities and how we make ourselves vulnerable to their influence is definitely needed in this world. I have had many weird experiences with entities and ghosts and have no doubt that the un-seen realm where these disembodied spirits dwell is very real. Learning that certain activities made me more vulnerable to their influence was one of the most important pieces of information I have ever received and I can confirm that drinking alcohol and taking recreational drugs leaves us wide open to the astral plane and all the spirits who dwell in it. You are correct when you say that all we need to deal with entities and ghosts is a clear understanding and practical appliance of the science of energy coupled with a great deal of clean, self loving living and complete ownership of our bodies. When we tick these three boxes our whole relationship with this invisible realm alters for the better, putting us back in the driving seat and putting them out of a job.

It’s so true, so many people have had strange encounters with spirit realm and up until now no one has tackled the subject with the openness, clarity and awareness that Serge Benhayon does. I too have experienced being pinned down and attacked by spirits while asleep and felt them literally walk into my body when awake. Learning that alcohol and other such substances when ingested lower my natural defences against the spiritual realm has gone a long, long way to me addressing these attacks. Choosing to clean up my diet and sleeping patterns has made a huge difference in rebuilding my natural immunity, as has becoming more informed and aware of the different energetic realms. Therefore imagine what this could mean for the millions of people who get affected to the extent that Jonathan Baldwin describes, whereby their actual thought processes are being manipulated and eroded by disincarnate spirits constantly feeding them lies? What Serge Benhayon offers us is an invaluable lesson in the true power of Self Care and Self Love and how we can make our everyday life choices the ultimate holistic remedy to address the many ills that occur physically, energetically and spiritually in our world.

  • Reply Leigh Matson December 1, 2016 at 11:00 pm

The way Serge Benhayon makes the unheard and unseen completely normal in conversation and navigation is amazing in how simple it is. This also exposes how the metaphysical aspects of life have been twisted into an illusion that it is something we are separate from or cannot understand.

It is curious that we are actually multidimensional beings ourselves, yet we are playing a game that says our understanding and awareness can only be limited to the physical plane our bodies exist in. It is as if we are wearing the headsets for a virtual game and when we have the sensations that there is something outside of this virtual game, we call it strange, novel or spooky. It is great to be supported to lift the veil away from our self-created blind spots.

  • Reply Golnaz Shariatzadeh November 26, 2016 at 2:35 am

It is quite remarkable that if tomorrow the papers started printing that scientific tests have proved that spirits and beings in another dimension exists the whole society would start to pay attention and consider the significance of such a revelation. In fact, I bet many organisations would instantly materialise that would specialise in working with such matters in one form or another.
Yet when pretty much all of us have had some experience when we were young, when our children keep pleading to us for an understanding of their awareness of such matters, when we see beyond doubt ourself and others around us change noticeably in character and at times appearance when drinking alcohol or taking drugs, when we periodically have feelings and reactions to places which we can not otherwise explain, how come this area is not more openly discussed? How come when someone like Serge Benhayon speaks about the topic in a very clear down to earth manner we as a society do not flock to deepen our understanding?
I am realising more and more that it is not the possibility of the existence of spirits and entities we need to be scared about, we are far more powerful than them when we express form our heart, the real cause for concern we do have is the self-created blindness we keep ourself in regarding their existence as well as their influence in our lives.

  • Reply Elizabeth Dolan November 24, 2016 at 4:59 pm

As a child I used to dread it when my parents drank alcohol or if I was around people who drank alcohol because I would literally watch them turn into someone else and this was very scary. When Serge Benhayon first presented the fact of entities and how drinking alcohol and taking drugs open you up to entities I just knew what he was saying was true from my own experience. From that moment onwards I never drank alcohol again, not from a sense of fearing the entities but from a feeling that I wanted my own kidney energy and didn’t want my life force to be used by some disincarnate entity.

  • Reply Jonathan Stewart November 24, 2016 at 7:22 am

Serge Benhayon brings a practical, down-to-earth presentation of entities, spirits, etc. that you share so well here Jonathan.

If the existence of entities was accepted, not in the Hollywood sense or traditional mumbo-jumbo way, but in the ‘common and garden’, no-nonsense way as presented by Serge Benhayon, then so much unhappiness and mental health conditions would be understood and resolved as is demonstrated by the experience you have shared, Jonathan.

If we do not appreciating and accepting the truth of entities, ghosts, spirits, demons, discarnate spirits, etc. we are living in denial of the workings of the world we live in. Accepting the truth of their existence as presented by Serge Benhayon and the Ageless Wisdom Teachings we open a door to understanding to how and why the world is the way it is.

When I was a child I always felt that there was ‘something’ under my bed and if I would put my feet on the ground it would pat me on my ankles. Also I saw ‘beings’ hiding behind the curtains. Adults told me that this all was not true, a product of my imagination/fantasy, but this did not help me or made ‘them’ go away.
Recently I was in a conversation with a women and she spoke about her daughter having the same fears (or in fact: senses) as I had had when I was young and she said to her the same things I did hear. After being in courses with Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine I know now the truth of these beings and senses and so encouraged this mother to speak with her daughter about what she is seeing and take her and her senses for real. It was incredible how this changed our conversation. The connection from us both talking did deepen and we felt like in a space which did expand. She was so surprised by my offer, as she said before it is all fantasy and now someone says it is not. And than she came up with her memories of her childhood and her senses, that she had the same but was told it is not true and so on… the quality of ‘taking seriously’, being heard and seen brought in some honor. And this honor – as it is very much missing in our every day living – is very much appreciated when it takes place. It opens up a space. I am very thankful for Serge Benhayon and his support in bringing more honor into our lives.

Jonathan, you open up so much here with your discussion on spirits and entities, what struck me most is that in our denial of their existence we give them power, in aggrandizing them we give them power and the simple way that we can acknowledge they’re there and that they’re simply beings without a body completely robs them of all power and shows them as just another part of life. So then we have a choice in how we live, knowing if we choose to drink alcohol, or do anything which takes us out of ourselves that we open the door, it changes the game as it shows us both our responsibility and power and brings a fuller more rounded understanding of life. There is so much more than we see, and acknowledging that we are all equipped to feel that is hugely important for all of us in how we live, as without it we really are living half blind – we can choose otherwise.

    • Reply James Nicholson January 5, 2017 at 3:14 pm

Well said Monica, it is the fact that we ignore them or try to ignore them is what give spirits and entities their perceived power. When as you say all we have to do is be open to seeing or sensing them and they then are powerless – what is shows is how much we can get affected by things when we try to ignore them or turn a blind eye to them.

Isn’t it the same with life? Anything denied or ignored magnifies. To face our demons or worst fears is to diminish them.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with entities, spirits and ghosts so openly Jonathan. I was and still would be so shut down that I was not aware of them but that does not mean for me that they were not there! I wished I could remember it as I could feel that I am living with a huge amount of fear and anxiety in my body and sadly I have learned to live with it. For me reading your truthful words helped me to open up the possibility that I too was aware of them when I was young and perhaps this gave me a change to allow myself to remember it step by step.

The spirits without bodies in the world have a field day with humanity. They are given easy access to people through the common and accepted practice of drinking alcohol or taking recreational drugs. They are dismissed as not being real, but at the same time feared. They are an experience for almost every child who still has the clarity (not yet worn down by a life of dulling every sense) to know there is something in that cupboard, or under that bed. They are glorified in movies and books. They enjoy creating havoc wherever they can. It is time to bring them out of the closet and see them for what they are, deceitful fakes.

What is shared here is gold, the truth and gives us a better understanding of energy ‘Serge Benhayon presents that evil can come in and through a person, but is never part of their true essence; that their divine spark can neither be sullied nor tainted.’ When we know the truth about energy and are given the tools like Sacred Esoteric Healing to clear what is not us and give us more space in our bodies to be who we truly are everything can change. And it has for many. Again another truth you have shared about Serge Benhayon ‘He had full understanding of how the unseen forces worked and absolutely no fear of them whatsoever’ and ‘He is a man that is dedicated to speaking the truth, no matter what.’

  • Reply Stephanie Stevenson November 1, 2016 at 3:20 am

Thank you Jonathan for this well written and clear account of your experiences from having ‘completely lost the sense of who you are’ from age 16. Serge Benhayon was the first person I had met, who made any sense of spirit, entities and possession and confirmed energetic awareness of these energies I had felt in my life.

  • Reply Kerstin Salzer October 21, 2016 at 2:37 pm

Jonathan, even if I know that spirits exists, your sharing reminds me of the fact that I always feel spirits in some way, trying to blind me. As I feel often protected your sharing supports me to have the courage and see what is going on.

  • Reply Cherise Holt October 19, 2016 at 9:55 am

I am so grateful that you chose to share of your experience Jonathan and in detail of the support that Serge Benhayon was for you. Feeling energy and seeing figures is something that I have experienced my entire life and can still find myself disturbed by at times, what I am choosing to claim more for myself is the understanding of where I am at (at the time that I feel disturbed) and deepen my relationship in trust and knowing of not only what I can feel but the confirmation of the powerful connection I am with in the moments prior. As it seems no coincidence to me that when I am in a powerful state of being within myself and I do not hold this as my way of living, there is an energy ready and waiting to knock me off, to scare or have me doubt my absolute authority in feeling energy and God in every moment that I move.

Your story has definitely moved me and is one that would support and confirm so many.. there are questions to be asked for oneself when we allow an energy that is not truly us to wield any power over us. There is a responsibility in this life to live the fullness and authority that comes with being who we truly are and to settle for less is to call upon a lesser version of who we are, and how do you think we do this? Well, with many forms of distractions, from drinking alcohol, over eating, holding back expression and even taking a comfortable stance in life with the ‘fear’ that comes with an entity – forming a relationship with it as opposed to deepening the powerful relationship with God that is within us.

It must have been an unbelievable relief and deep healing when Serge Benhayon let you speak and tell your whole story, without prejudice or any preconceived ideas.

Imagine if the presentation of entities was made normal and not mystical. The ease and simplicity that Jonathan shared from Serge shows a very powerful understanding that entities are most real yet not there to be feared, just read, understood and dealt with from a strong sense of awareness and trust in self. I do wonder how many situations I have let myself be swayed or manipulated by a force that has led to poor choices, and to know this is a great step towards closing those particular character traits where evil gets in.

  • Reply Jo Elmer October 15, 2016 at 10:02 am

With the confirmation and clear understanding Serge has brought forward on the topic of energy and entities I have become much more aware of just how ever present they are, how much a part of life the unseen world is and just how vulnerable, in my ignorance I used to be.

I used to fire walk hoping that it would magically lift me out of my issues by showing me “more” about life or by breaking me out of my limitations… But now when I feel into my past experiences I realize that to walk across 8 feet of metal-melting coals is pure and utter self abandonment; essentially I was undescernadly saying “I give up, please something, anything help me, fix me, show me magic”…

Thanks to Serge I now have no desperation or need clouding my common sense and from here I can see and feel that something or someone did indeed prevent our feet from burning off and I know it was not Love because I have discovered that love always lets me know when I am doing something harmful or unloving and because nothing about me or my life changed by walking on coals but with the True Love I am learning to make loving choices and this has changed everything.

  • Reply Vicky Cooke October 9, 2016 at 7:07 am

This is good to know ‘that their only perceived power lies in our choice to not be aware of their existence and the way they affect and influence human life.’ So great to have a discussion about this and also the tools in staying with our awareness and truth of who we are with simple practicalities like not drinking alcohol etc.

This is beautiful to read Jonathan and a blessing for humanity to bring that unseen world we all live with to the fore. I too have been told when I was young that that other world I could see or feel did not exist and that it was just something from my imagination. That being told over and over, and never being confirmed as you described your sessions with Serge Benhayon, had made me close the door to this spiritual and energetic world I am unmistakably part of and by doing so, I now can see, made me a play ball of this world of energy instead.

Many of my friends are fascinated with the notion of ghosts and tarot cards, and there are many things that people will engage with that suggest they too know and accept that there is another plane of life that is going on around us, yet it is left as a sort of tantalising notion. The way Serge presents it, so matter of factly, takes away the power and mystery and brings an understanding to many situations that we dismiss even though we feel something about it. I have never been spooked or amazed by what he presented, it just felt very normal, even though I never engaged in any of this hocus-pocus in the past. Very refreshing.

I wonder how many people can relate to those unsettled feelings as a kid? I remember getting very upset but having no words to describe the anxious feeling in the pit of my stomach, let alone the reason behind it. As we become adults we may ignore or poo poo the notion of something else yet everything around us eludes to it.

Thank you Jonathan for sharing so beautifully your experience of entities – it makes such sense of my experiences of unknown presences that I felt around me as a child. It is not a subject that we often speak about and yet feels fundamental to our life. With acknowledging these feelings and sharing our knowingness that they are not our imagination, but as much part of our world as the more material things that we rely on to give life more sense and reality. As you have said in response to all that Serge Benhayon offers us unceasingly ‘Thank you for holding the love of humanity so dear that you never shy away from presenting the truth to the world, no matter how many feathers it might ruffle’. With this reflection we can all go forth and more ably claim our truth with a sense of purpose and humility.

Thank you for this powerful sharing Jonathan and offering truth out there for anyone who wants to know. This was just the blog to share with a lady who asked if I had any literature on this topic as her son, now an adult, has been harassed and traumatized by spirits all his life.
As a child myself I was terrified at seeing them in the corners of my room, or blocking my doorway so if I wanted to get out I wouldn’t, and seeing them in different parts of the house. I can remember being happy and thinking I was now grown up when I worked out how to distract myself enough to close down and not be as aware of spirits and entities. Then in my 20’s there was a presence around me that I could no longer deny was there, it became that persistent that I would even find things on the floor that no one else moved. I talked with an alternative practitioner about it and while there was some relief per say, as she didn’t think I was crazy and actually agreed that indeed something was there… I didn’t get a full understanding until listening to a presentation by Serge in my 30’s. This then helped me to support my children with the very scary experiences that were happening to them.
Serge is a constant reflection and one I appreciate fully for never holding back delivering truth with love or curtailing so not to ‘rock anyone’s boat’… this supports others to reconnect to their inner knowing that has always been there as well.

Medicine, psychology and psychiatry will one day be called to account for all the people that were misdiagnosed, (as psychotic for example) and mistreated, (with medication or electric shock therapy), when in fact what was and is really going on is that entities and spirits are possessing the body of the person, or otherwise harassing them as you describe in your comment. Medicine turning a blind eye to this is not going to wash.

Beautiful Jonathan – thank you for sharing your experience and the wisdom that has unfolded and for writing on something that touches the lives of many and who have not been able to claim it as true. This has also helped me understand at a deeper level what is really going on for many that choose to loose themselves through the ingesting of life altering substances.

  • Reply Leigh Matson August 14, 2016 at 3:31 am

I remember in one Universal Medicine course we were shown that technique you’ve mentioned Jonathan about removing entities. The before and after effects on the body were so stark it was like day and night. This can be seen in photos or in person of when people are under the influence of a substance compared to when sober. These altered states of being and entities needs more discussion as I remember a conversation in regards to when we check out from life and yet still move around and seemingly, if we have checked out who has checked in to carry on moving?

When I stopped drinking alcohol I could see this stark difference of day and night in friends the moment alcohol touched their lips, it was in their eyes, they completely changed in an instant, and then I would watch their behaviours change too, quite incredible to observe.

I love the use of the cartoons in this article, from the title and what is written they are very appropriate. Just on the drinking one I remember being in the Police and seeing people do things under the influence of alcohol that you wouldn’t believe. The funny or not so funny thing is that when they sobered up they would say the same. You would see 2 completely different people and some would even argue with you that they couldn’t do such things. The phrases, ‘I don’t know what came over me’, ‘I wasn’t myself’, ‘I’m not usually like that’ and ‘That was just the alcohol speaking’ were all too common. There is more to life than currently meets the eye, thank you Jonathan.

This is so true Ray, when I was younger I would behave in such an outrageous way when I had drunk, on one occasion I was told I overpowered 2 policemen restraining me and ran away before being caught again. This made no sense as a) I was so drunk I don’t remember anything and b) I had such a small delicate frame there is no way I could overpower two strong men. What got into me?

Thank you Jonathan for speaking on this taboo topic. I have often felt “energies” around, especially as a child. Though my parents did not disbelieve me I have found people most often to be so uncomfortable with the topic and to think one crazy who speaks up about it. Serge shares that being aware of what is going on is key in not feeling harassed in this way…so it is high time to share when we do feel the intrusion of entities.

It is very healing reading this Jonathan. It took me back to being a kid and lying in bed scared of what lurked under the bed or in the closet. The healing part is the confirmation in what I was feeling. When we are ridiculed, dismissed and told it is nonsense it all has quite an effect on a young child.

  • Reply Chris Vale July 31, 2016 at 4:01 am

Thanks Jonathan for bringing up something that is not talked about often enough, and is not talked about due to the taboo nature of the subject of entities and spirits. I myself went though a long period of consuming alcohol and drugs daily and during this time felt an intense heaviness all around me. I often felt that I was being coerced into doing things I normally wouldn’t do or say. Only after stopping the drugs and alcohol abuse did the way I felt change. The truth is that it scares the heck out of most of us to even consider spirits or entities so it seems safer to deny that they exist. This just gives them permission to do as they will, but by becoming aware of what is really going on, then that which is known no longer has any power over us. If we consider that there are other beings around us on another plane then we also need to consider the possibility that we are more than just flesh and bone and also consider the possibility of reincarnation and if we are living in a way where we not living in our fullness it makes sense that something will come in to fill that gap.

This is a fantastic blog Jonathan. You write in such a relatable way about a subject many do not know who to ask about. These spirits and entities certainly are very real, playing havoc with people’s lives. Serge Benhayon brings the truth about these and as you say, knows how to deal with them. I felt and saw these entities and spirits all my life until I found Serge Benhayon 4 1/2 years ago, and almost immediately I stopped seeing them. Everything changed, I felt much lighter and clear, I felt relieved. I am deeply grateful for all that Serge presents, for it is real and true and there for all humanity.

It explains so much and the gift offered to us all by Serge Benhayon in bringing understanding and the open truth to entities, sprits and the unseen world we all live in is so supportive for us all. Having been scared by sprits and energy all around me as a small child onwards and being frightened at night and not understanding this and keeping it hidden to myself as I was not believed. It has been so healing to know what was really going on and to take this understanding into my whole life.

Thank you Johnathan for sharing this. Like you’ve mentioned we have sayings that lead to the fact that there is more going on than we can see. These beings are not just around us as kids at bedtime but a part of our everyday life. With opening up this conversation in an understanding way it allows us to explore this awareness again without fear. How many of these beings are wandering around our workplaces, on the bus, in our homes etc if we are unaware of their presence? For me I have experienced depression and in those times it does feel like a weight is being placed on top of me I cannot see. I know it is my choices that lead to that situation but the fact that it is not a solo effort to maintain such state of being needs to be discussed more. Just as we can receive support to be aware by connecting to our bodies and its communications how much are we ‘supported’ or imposed upon to remain unaware? And who is providing this force?

  • Reply Judith Andras July 27, 2016 at 1:34 am

Thank you Jonathan for opening this conversation on a much-needed-to-talk-about topic that is generally avoided, ridiculed or sensationalised. I too could feel energies and even see them at times and felt deeply confirmed when I heard Serge talk about it openly and showing us how to deal with them. Whilst I moved in circles that were accepting that unseen energies exist and can influence us, nobody had ever taken this fact as seriously and dealt with it on such a practical level as I learned to do in the courses offered by Serge Benhayon.
I find it interesting how many movies exist bringing in this subject of unknown and unseen forces that are more powerful than us and how many people talk about UFOs and extraterrestrial beings. It shows to me how we all somewhat know about discarnate spirits and like to follow thoughts about them. However by making it just an entertainment and obscure fantasy we do not empower ourselves to truly feel what is going on and how to free ourselves from the fear and unsureness we have about this topic.

What an interesting read – thanks for sharing your story Jonny and for addressing a topic which I feel is never really spoken about. It’s certainly one I had never considered before listening to Serge present on the subject. We probably all have our own stories about ghosts, spirits, etc – or if not, know someone who has. As Jonny mentions, they have even become part of popular culture with the latest Ghostbusters film being just one example. But they are more than just fiction; they can have a very real impact on our lives. Your story provides us with a real life example of how we can better understand and deal with demons, ghosts, sprits, entities, etc. Big thanks to you and Serge!

Thank you Jonathan, this is a mysterious subject that I am glad is brought into light. Great to expose how entities/spirits enter your auric field , altering the state of the people who drink alcohol or take drugs. This explains what is truly happening. It validates what I was feeling. The person didn’t seem themselves even after one mouth full of alcohol. In this state there was no real connection/interaction or conversation that would take place.

  • Reply Lee Green July 20, 2016 at 12:02 am

Everything written here by Jonathan and the comments by others I completely agree with, much is known but as a race we choose to dull down and switch the awareness down often to way past zero – using food, drugs, emotions, alcohol etc. so that we don’t get to see that which we really know very very well. The fact is Serge Benhayon has opened many people up to the fact that all that we have experienced throughout life is real, does happen and can be felt. No other on earth that I am aware of is doing this, has this much understanding and can literally support so many to ‘get it’ again. We are deeply blessed to have Serge Benhayon as a reflection and proven by this magnificent writing this reflection is Gold.

Your article Jonny makes me realise that being surrounded by the aggrandising of discarnate beings, entities and possession and it comes from all angles, distracts us from the truth we all know and that is their power over us is nothing without the drama and the story that pollutes our minds and makes up pictures blowing the whole thing out of proportion. Thank God for Serge Benhayon who brings simplicity to everything and teaches that there is nothing more powerful than expressing who we are, and exposing what is not. I deeply appreciate you bringing this topic to light, thank you.

Thank you Jonathan for writing about your experiences here and normalising this. I know as a child such energies used to visit me and I’d get really scared not knowing what they were. This was mostly dismissed as nothing and I consequently started to shut down my awareness to what I was feeling around me. Lately I’ve been more aware of such energies, a presence at times, watching me but through hearing Serge Benhayon talk of this, I can now feel it and know in connection to me I am so much more powerful, that it goes. Reading this has giving me the opportunity to look at my own responsibility as to why this is happening, usually when I’ve distracted myself or dulled myself and therefore I’ve unwittingly opened the door and invited these energies in. This understanding is huge and allows me to see how I can change it too.

A few years ago before my daughter was at school, there were quite a few times she told me of times throughout the night that someone was in her room. Children don’t make this stuff up and I believed her wholeheartedly. Around this time I was listening to the teachings of The Ageless Wisdom as presented by Serge, and because of that, I was able to share with my daughter how to handle the presence. All she had to do was not doubt the existence of them, and when they came, know she had the power to say no to them. She could name them, and tell them they are not wanted here so go away. It totally empowered her, she felt listened to by her parents, and in control of her situation and her safe space, her bedroom. Whoever had been coming and going, came and went soon after for good. It may seem weird to some, but treating it this way was so powerful and simple, and so very loving for us all. Anytime my friends comment on how their children sometimes have nightmares and are scared of something, I share this story.

This is stunning Jonathan — thank you so much for sharing all that you have. In so many circles, certainly when I was growing up, entities, spirits and discarnate beings were regarded as silly subjects verging to the ridiculous. In this blatant dismissal, the clairsentience we naturally have to see and feel everything going on around us is quashed. We all feel when someones in a good mood or a bad mood — we pick up on ‘vibes’ all of the time. This sensitivity is in truth our power — and this is what is quashed with modern society’s dismissal of what is unseen, and it is one of the many things I deeply cherish about Serge Benhayon — that the innocence of that innate knowing we all have is rekindled — it’s no longer a hush-hush poo-poo subject, but something shared about openly as we let ourselves relish in the fact that we always, everywhere feel energy all of the time — it is an immutable fact.
As I was reading this article, a memory came back that I have had many times of when I was little, maybe 3 or 4 years old when family members and friends would come together for dinner. I remember feeling the unease in my little body as voices would raise and the energy in the house would sharpen and distort. I wouldn’t be at those gatherings, I would be in my room with my little sister and we would both feel vulnerable and uneasy. What I didn’t want to feel was the entities that crawl all around the house when the drinking would start, and how no walls would prevent them from coming in but that adult didn’t want to listen or understand.
Alcohol and entities are bedfellows that can’t be separated. It’s no coincidence that spirits are called this — the irony speaks of the truth we actually know even though we try to deny it. When we drink alcohol we open up our auric field and in comes whatever wants to come — it’s like having your house all opened up with its doors and windows wide open while a gale is blowing outside and debris can come in through any of the open doors or windows. That’s what happens to our bodies when we drink. But what we also want to conveniently forget is how when our body is affected it actually affects every’body’ else as well.
Alcohol opens up the doors for evil to conveniently dwell.

I feel most of us have experienced these unseen things around us as we sense everything and feel everything but have developed a way to try and keep them out or at least at bay. Thank God for Serge Benhayon that I know how to assess what is going on as he has given me the tools and it would be fair to say that I am pretty fearless these days and have the ability to help others by presenting the way I live that does not allow any space for these entities to take hold.

We need to speak about it so that we begin to understand what the world and what we are made of….energy. Then the world we live in would begin to make much more sense and we may well then begin to make different choices in how we live.

  • Reply Esther Auf der Maur July 16, 2016 at 8:39 am

This topic is so important to start talking about! It really is time for us to acknowledge what we all actually know, rather than keep giving our power away to spirits who are choosing to not be in physical form at that time. I clearly remember the fears I had at night as a child; how I lay in bed, making sure my ears were covered by the doona, so the scary monsters under my bed could not cut them off… I remember feeling the energies hiding behind the curtain. But nobody ever talked about things like that then. Thank you Jonathan for sharing your experience so openly, and it’s been amazing and beautiful to read the comments, like flood gates had opened up to allow this discussion. We need to get the entities out of the closet and into our awareness. Thanks to Serge Benhayon, who is re-awakening the awareness up for us all so naturally and lovingly.

  • Reply Nicola Lessing July 16, 2016 at 6:01 am

Absolutely wonderful that you write about this subject Jonathan that for some reason we don’t speak directly about and yet all know. As you say our language has many words for this and people commonly say things like, “He was not himself” and “I don’t know what got into him”, “She was beside herself” and so on.
I too deeply thank Serge Benhayon for so sensibly and practically presenting the truth of life despite as you say the collective pressure that comes to not say these things and the ridicule that often follows. Serge shares the truth in a very simple way with absolutely zero attachment as to whether the listener agrees or accepts it or not. It is up to each of us to discern whether what has been presented is true or not. In my experience it has always been true and in that fullness of truth has set me free from many misconceptions and impositions such as to be hugely empowering. As you say these things only have any hold over us when we are choosing to not be aware of them – in awareness they cannot touch us. When you turn on the light there is no darkness.

This is such a profound write up Jonathan; one that will support so many people to understand what is going on in life.

So many of us have had the experience of feeling a creepy or disturbing energy around us and/or having dictatorial thoughts. People are often written of as weird or mad and most won’t speak about this because of the stigma, judgement and lack of true understanding of what is going on; but as Serge Benhayon has such a great understanding of how energy works he is able to support others to understand what’s happening.

To have Serge Benhayon here on this Earth at this time is one of the greatest gifts we could ask for.

Whether we choose to align to what he is presenting is up to each individual as we all have that choice, BUT the mere fact that he is here and not holding back what he knows to be true AND the fact that he is sharing this with humanity WITHOUT ANY CENSORSHIP is having a profound effect on the quality of energy on Earth.

Without Serge here things would be much worse. One example is this brilliant testimonial that Jonathan has written which confirms how people are able to grow and change when they are presented with the Truth and we are open to knowing how life truly works.

Many years ago I was taken over by a disincarnate spirit. It was a horrendous experience. Fortunately, I had friends and family who realised what had happened and they supported me to get to Serge and have the spirit lovingly removed from my being. Even though I had been healed, I lived with guilt (for having made some stupid choices which made me susceptible to such an event) and lived with fear (that someone / anyone would find out what had happened to me.) I was sure I was the only one that had ever had such a thing happen to them. Then one day a few years later I saw that Serge was presenting on the topic of entities and possession etc. I wanted to know more so I put on a hat and big sunglasses (hoping I wouldn’t know anyone there or that if I did, they wouldn’t recognise me) and I took myself off to the talk. I was shocked to find a packed room when I got there. What a surprise to find all these people who knew that entities and possession were real. Serge’s talk and the public discussion were a big step in completing the healing from the traumatic experience. It’s great to see the topic open for discussion here. Thank you Jonathan.

Thank you Jonathan. At last a sensible discussion about spirits and entities. Regarding your comment Liane about a whole army of them. I have only just now been reading this article but can tell you that 3 nights ago I dreamed I was standing in the middle of the field of a Football Stadium packed with ghosts …watching me. It seems that we students of Serge Benhayon are causing quite a stir on the astral plane as we take charge of our own Way of The Livingness and no longer allow them in.

Brilliant Jonathan, an area of life that has been so spooked and misrepresented by all manner of ways, from media, TV, film and religion, and you’ve provided a lived experience that puts the stories straight.

I’ve found that shared experiences like these provide understanding and therefore an ability to relate to young children in a way that helps them address the fear of the unseen but felt presences, with the comprehension of what is really at play.

  • Reply Amber Goodwin July 15, 2016 at 2:06 pm

I have had these experiences and it is great to be confirmed that what I have felt is not hogwash because I know it’s not and I love that I can now not be afraid and understand their presence. It is also awesome to recognise when and why they can have an effect on us and how we can claim back our presence so that we are not in the ills of theres.

Brilliant Jonathan – the door to evil well and truly sealed, bolted and dissolved by the simple truth you live and share. The astral plane is all a quiver, your every word a torch that illuminates the corners in which evil seeks to hide.

The best way to expose a bully, indeed a whole army of them, is to look them fearlessly in the eye while saying: “You cannot own me for I am owned by something far grander than that which you seek to put in place to stop me living it”.

This site is a credit to your wife and yourself, the quality of the writing here is so deeply touching I am nearly beyond words, (but then again being beyond words is impossible for me) I thoroughly enjoyed everything you shared, your bravery and character is the gold that makes this article so powerful.

Thank you Jonathan. Awesome to bring an honesty around this subject. I have felt these spirits and entities all my life and was so afraid of them. I was constantly being told that what I was feeling was not real. As soon as I understood and had confirmed that they were real, that my light was more powerful than them and did not need to be afraid, my night terrors diminished. My son used to see monsters and a man, sometimes he would say he was sitting at the dinner table next to him. We acknowledge what he was feeling and seeing was true and explained to him that he did not need to be afraid, that he could tell them to go away and they did. He is no longer bothered by them at all.

Thank you Jonathan for sharing your story and with that perpetuating what Serge is bringing to humanity, a very matter of fact, simple and real discussion of the fact that there are discarnate beings all around us and that if we let them they are simply playing with us. It is so important to take all the spiritual, religious and mumbo jumbo out of this discussion and make it part of everyday life.

Thank you Jonathan, for lifting the lid on this somewhat tricky topic. I’ve always felt the existence of ghosts, of energies unseen and as soon as I call it out, their energy seems to move on. I did once have a particularly stubborn one though that hang around for a very long time, like a constant shadow and in coming to the work of Serge Benhayon and in developing my authority as a living being, I gradually let go of my attachment to the self-abuse that allowed it to enter my life….not via alcohol or drugs, but by choices I made to remain in relationships that were no longer working. When I eventually said an unequivocal “No” to the abuse, I realised there was no longer any space for the shadow to occupy. It’s great to have this topic up and out in the open.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this account Jonathan and can see how by us being open to discussing these almost taboo subjects so openly, it removes the mysticism around such themes. It is clear from what you have said and other commenters have shared, that entities and presences are very real, and we can feel them and be imposed upon by them. I too have benefited from Serge Benhayon’s done to earth realism about the subject. His no nonsense presentations on what entities are removes all the Hollywood mythology about them allowing myself and others to acknowledge that what we have always felt is indeed true and that there is nothing to be fearful of.

  • Reply Leigh Strack July 14, 2016 at 7:59 pm

It truly is very scary if we but allow ourselves to consider just how much humanity is influenced and manipulated by these incarnate beings. I too have had my own personal experiences with them and overriding the feeling I had in my body. But I still remember them today, so no matter how much we try to convince ourselves that what we feel isn’t true, effectively it is an absolute impossibility to do so.

Jonathan, the world needs more testimonials like yours exposing the dangers of alcohol drinking and the fact that it opens people up to entity disturbance. I come from a culture where wine drinking is the norm and I know only too well the upsets it creates in a child’s life as I have experienced it myself. A child is not truly safe in a place where alcohol is consumed. Alcohol is to be avoided at all costs. It poisons bodies and lives.

Serge Benhayon lives and understands the multi-dimensionality of our beingness. Entities and spirits hold no influence over us when we are in the power of who we truly are, Sons of God.

This was great to read Jonathan. I have heard many stories of people feeling entities and ghosts etc. I myself have felt creeped out and scared when walking into a room… We all know that this goes on. What I love is actually being aware and knowing what’s happening around you, you can’t be scared of it then and it just confirms what we know all along.

I can really relate to this Jonathan as from understanding this about life – that there is more to life than the physical – it has allowed me to let go of any fear of death and understand why and how people behave as they do. I now understand what drives people to do things that seem incomprehensible, completely illogical and even illegal. From my understanding people are ‘not themselves’ when a crime is committed so it is a lot easier to accept that it was an energy that had taken hold of their body. It is the only thing that does make any sense.

  • Reply Kathleen Baldwin July 14, 2016 at 7:11 am

This is a well documented account of what happened in your teenage years, Jonathan, one so worth sharing. Serge Benhayon made total sense of all that was going on completely annihilating the fear and the drama of the situation. In fact every teenager would do well to read this before they decide to go down the party path of drugs and alcohol. And if they already are indulging it would explain why they and their friends are not quite themselves after drinking alcohol and/or smoking or taking drugs. I have seen so many beautifully clear, bright sparks go down this track . . . as I, myself did when I was young, finding myself doing things that I would never be caught dead doing in my normal state of mind. Once we are aware of the entities we let in in this state we can truly understand just how damaging mind altering substances are. In fact I will go as far to say that having legalised mind altering substances such as alcohol freely advertised, glamourised and promoted is a crime against humanity.

    • Reply Johanna Smith July 14, 2016 at 6:38 pm

I agree Kathleen. Serge completely took the fear and mystery out of it all with his true and down to earth way of explaining life as it is.

I love how you shared the straightforward way in which Serge Benhayon acknowledges this fact and through claiming ourselves in full we are able to put to bed any fears we may of held about those who walk among us. Thank you for writing so honestly and openly and not holding back from presenting the truth.

It is so great that you write about this Jonathan. I have had many of these experiences too and I know without a doubt that entities and spirits are real. Like Adam, I have also had the experience of feeling pinned to my bed unable to move or breathe. No wonder kids get frightened and shut down their natural sensing ability. I am sure most people have had similar experiences but are too afraid or embarrassed to discuss them. Serge Benhayon has taken the mystery and fear out of them for me, and supported many with the tools to negate their ‘seeming power’. Accepting and trusting our knowing and our sensitivity is a great start.

I have never drunk alcohol out of choice but have still felt spirits being present around me in my bedroom at night. I have felt them hovering over my bed at night and have woken up in fear as a result. Spending a great majority of my teen years babysitting many children in the evenings this was a common discussion why so many of the children in my care resisted going to bed as they saw images and felt they were being harmed at night. Thank you Jonathan for being up front and honest about a topic that is still considered ‘make believe’ yet is so commonly a memory for many.

We need more practical, down-to-earth, simple and straightforward conversations around these topics and this is in an incredible start. Thank you Jonathan for sharing this with us. In a world where entities exist far more than we can care to think/know, this is well needed.

I love how Serge meets people in full and listens with no judgement and he has such a deep understanding of life. Look how much your life has blossomed since that first meeting. I have the privilege of knowing you and very glad that you are such an active member of this community – and by this community I mean humanity. You are a real blessing to us all.

    • Reply Johanna Smith July 14, 2016 at 6:37 pm

Yes a huge thanks Jonathan. Practicality is key here as this topic has only really been explored in movies, exorcisms, weird spiritual stuff etc. The fact is we all do feel energy and energies other than us do exist – they are simply without a human physical body. And have no power over us unless we give it to them.

Thank you for your sharing Jonathan, something that is not always openly discussed these days without people being scared of the topic or completely dismissive of it. I have had many experiences of being pinned down in bed, to sleeping next to a horrible creepy energy at a friends house, to later find out her grandfather died in the bed I slept in. I remember clearly when I started healing sessions with Universal Medicine I was just giving up alcohol. I had a session with an Esoteric Practitioner and she removed an entity from me and we spoke later about the affects of alcohol on me and what it opens my body to – these entities. The next day I was at a social gathering and alcohol was being served, and I thought, I could get away with having one glass of wine and nothing would happen to me. But, I felt the shift in my body and in my energy. It was a dulling energy, heavier and I didn’t feel myself. I didn’t feel clear and light from after my session anymore. The next day I went back to the same practitioner and it was the most revealing day for me. I struggled to drive to that session. I could not even make eye contact with her, she instantly just got me on the table and lifted the entity out of my body. I instantly felt a sense of relief, but how the spirit in me was so cunning, it did not want to be exposed and it was like she was looking straight at it. After that session, I knew that was it for me. No more alcohol. I did not want that to happen again. I did not want to have that entity experience again. And that was the day I renounced alcohol from my life completely. Thank you for sharing this Jonathan, a very real topic that Serge Benhayon presents with such a deep understanding.

Thank you – a very beautiful blog.
It reminds me when I was young, often I was scared also during the day, when I was alone at home.
I had the feeling somebody wants to catch me or also when I went to sleep – I built a burg, a wall something I could hide behind.
Now with coming to the work of Serge Benhayon I understand, what has happened.
My father drank a lot of alcohol and I guess our living space was like a bar for entities.
This is a great and important sharing for everyone.

I too grew up with alcohol and know this feeling. As a child I was very aware of when part of our home felt spooky and I had to run through these areas. Today when my daughter or children share such feelings or dreams I never shut it down but ask questions of what happened, what did you feel etc as an honouring of what they felt.

  • Reply adam warburton July 13, 2016 at 8:40 pm

When I was 17, I went to a friends house with my girlfriend, and they brought out a ouija board. At the time it was quite a freaky experience. I had no idea how the glass moved around the board. I knew I was not moving it. And every time we called a different spirit into the glass, the glass moved differently. You could feel it, like each spirit had a different personality. Anyhow, people asked all the normal questions, and I was quite surprised how things were answered – questions I asked that no one else should have known the answer to. The spirits themselves were quite mischievous, and I did not trust what was said, realising at the time that for the most part they were happy to tell you what you wanted to hear. My girlfriend at the time asked if I would play hockey for Australia. They said yes, which of course was the answer I would have liked to have heard -it was a goal of mine at the time – but even then I knew they were lying, because deep down I knew I would not. After that they got cheeky, telling the girls they watched them in the toilet, and the last one threatened to actually appear before us all. That freaked everyone out, and I was the last one holding the glass. I will never forget the jolt of energy that passed up my arm. It was very, very strong. I left that night a little freaked out and glad I would not be sleeping alone. All of it was very tangible and very real.

I have also had experiences at night of being pinned and being suffocated under the covers, unable to move. I have felt the presence of beings late at night on my own. I have also talked to many, many people with similar experiences of being held down, and have met people who have quite an awareness of such things – my wife being one of them. Once my wife and I inspected a house for rent. As we approached the house, the hair raised up on the back of my neck, and it was the middle of the day. My wife felt the presence of an old man looking out.. We later found out from the real estate agent that they had not been able to rent the house for years, despite it being very presentable and a good property.

My point of this sharing is that the experience of entities/ghosts/spirits is not that uncommon, much more common than we think. And, like Jonathan above, I was always scared from such experiences. But the fact that I have had such experiences meant that when Serge Benhayon started presenting on entities, it came as no surprise to me. It just made sense to what I had experienced in life. It was not revelation as to the fact of their existence. But it was revelation on how to deal with them and understand their nature. That really assisted me, for prior to Universal Medicine, I had not handled such experiences well, feeling like such experiences of spirits were to be feared. These days, I just acknowledge their presence if I feel it, and get on with my day. They have no power once we learn to hold our own presence in full. Anyhow, that is enough for a single comment, suffice to say he explanation of alcohol and entities also makes complete sense to me. I have always been able to recognise that point after a beer, when you start to feel your focus waver, and you feel like you are giving yourself over to something else. After that point, you can feel your eyes glaze over, and you can sense how your personality shifts ever so slightly, and even though you are aware of it, you feel like you have to go with it. Now you can say, that is just the effect alcohol has on the brain, but I am only talking one beer here, and the sensation of entities that Serge Benhayon has presented in courses is exactly the same sensation I have felt when drunk – very subtle but tangible if you are sensitive to such things.

    • Reply Johanna Smith July 14, 2016 at 6:31 pm

Thank you Adam for such a sharing – a blog in its self really. It is important that we share such experiences. I have had similar growing up of feeling presences, seeing images and beings and also being pinned down at night while being conscious. Some I did not fear as I was growing up but was well aware of them yet for the times I was pinned down I in that moment connected to my gentle breath (after I was shared it by Serge) and the more I did this the less they had any power over me. Today I can feel and am aware that there is more than the physical yet they have no power over me as I remain connected to my heart.

    • Reply Vicky Cooke August 20, 2016 at 7:48 pm

‘They have no power once we learn to hold our own presence in full.’ This is so true Adam, and Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine demystified the ‘unknown’ so we not only know about these entities and what they are, but the far bigger picture of life and our purpose. Something every single person should be aware of in order to empower themselves and make loving choices that truly evolve and support all.

You share some of the experiences a lot of people relate to, especially getting a feeling about a house or room. These experiences can be a common place part of a vast majority of people’s lives and yet it’s like we don’t piece it all together to realise that we are living in a soup of energy that impacts on us all the time

    • Reply julie Matson March 30, 2018 at 3:37 am

I can relate to having had the experience of being pinned down, and it is very scary. Initially, the entity presented itself as if it was my husband but I soon realised that it wasn’t – so, they can be devious and present as someone we know and trust. Not knowing what to do I quickly said the Lords Prayer, more out of desperation than anything and then told it to get off. I now say it was the telling it to go was the reason for the release. My understanding is that they can’t stay if we tell them to go.

I love the depth of your sharing Adam. It is true that so many of us have experienced these things, but since there is a tendency to be ridiculed when sharing such things, many of us have learned to dismiss our own personal experiences. I guess with spirits and entities just as with anything else, the more we are pretending something did not happen, the more outrage there is when someone starts to talk about it as fact. Conversations as we are having on this blog are a great way to support us all to reclaim our awareness and honouring of our experience.
